Snow in October

The weather outside is crazy.  Two days ago, it was clear and in the 60s.  Today it snowed.  If it had been cold recently, we would have gotten a good inch of accumulation because it dumped.   Ellis wanted to romp around in it, and Anders got was very interested in his first snow.  Kathy, Ian and James came over to give us all a distraction from the inhospitable day.

This cute outfit is his first from Plum Gear, "Netflix for Baby Clothes."  It is very handy for the little babies who grow out of clothing at incredible rates, and not in sync with the seasons.  You pay a monthly fee and get a certain number of pieces of clothing a month.  Then you send them back and get new bundle.  Wish I had thought of it.

Anders had another first this week.  First trip to the ER.  He was wheezing something awful but looked fine and was smiling and laughing.  I let it go overnight but in the morning he sounded worse.  So I took him in.  Everyone expressed shock when they listened to his chest (which sounded unbelievably bad) because he looked so happy and healthy.  But the doc determined he was prone to wheezing but fine and discharged us.  So we went home and took a nap together.  BTW, at the hospital, Anders weighed in at a little over 19 lbs.
