Getting to Know Elle

In 9 days, Beth will go back to work (almost) full time and Ellis will be with a nanny, Jean, who is from Trinidad and has been in the DC area nanny-ing for over 15 years. Ellis will be sharing Jean with Elle, pictured below with the big, glowing smile and sitting in the Bumbo. Elle brought her parents over for dinner tonight so that we could all get to know each other better.
Her mom, Tracy, made a wonderful flourless chocolate cake and her dad, Shane, has almost convinced us to have someone else handle the nanny taxes.

Ellis is pictured here in the super cute outfit her Aunt Amy gave her. She was exhausted after the festivities and fell asleep on Mike's shoulder.
