Mom Movie
On Wednesdays at the Majestic Theater in Silver Spring, two movies are designated as Mom's Movie Club movies. This means that you have a theater filled with moms with babies, and no one cares if a baby cries or a toddler needs to run around.
Melvis has made it a weekly event to meet up for lunch with their moms and then see a movie.
This week they also invited Maisie and her mom, Ashley, who were excellent additions to the day's festivities. The crew met last Friday at the mom's group meeting at Tryst Coffee House in Adams Morgan, and Beth has referred to Ashley as "her new friend" ever since. All three moms bonded over their excellent choice of names for their girls.
When Beth goes back to work full time, she is going to feel the loss of the moms' movie greatly on Wednesdays.
