Aunt Kathy Feeding Ellis
Aunt Kathy helped Beth feed Ellis today. The dinner was made up of strained green beans and oatmeal with banana, finished off with a fine '08 bottle of milk. Ellis could not get enough of the green beans (see the video on the left side of the page).
Ellis didn't think much of solid food at the start. She'd gnaw on pizza crust but refuse or spit out baby food. So we stopped trying for 10 days. When we started back up, it was a whole new game. Now, she likes everything she tries and wants more every day.
Ellis also prefers to handle the bottle herself. She is called "Little Miss Independent" by the care-givers at Just Us Kids: Chandra, Edith, Latosha, Eartha and Chakun.
