We spent this weekend on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland at the lovely home of some friends (Tom and Sharee). It is in a little town that was all the rage around 1900. It still has a very nice beach area and is a great get away.
Joining us was named Cesky and Gus, both sweet chocolate labs. Ellis thought the dogs were hysterical, especially their tails. She would cringe a bit when the dogs licked her face but then flap her arms and laugh. Check out the video on the left of the page.
We went down to the beach on Saturday. Ellis did not like the water one bit. She seemed intimidated by the waves, which were very, very small. So it may take a while to get her comfortable enough to take swimming lessons -- something that will clearly wait until next year.
