OJ and Ellis
Mike's former student from Community Club, Odinga Johnson (or OJ), came over for dinner before heading off to Virginia State University for college. He was in 8th grade when Mike first started tutoring him and now he is starting college!
OJ is an impressive young man in many ways -- poised, a natural leader, intelligent, sweet. We have known all of this for a while. But when he came to visit, he demonstrated yet another talent: he has a way with kids. Ellis was pretty tired by the time we got home with the pizza, but she gladly hung out with OJ so that Beth and Mike could set the table.
