Trip to Mount Vernon
Ellis' grandmother came to town and we visited Mount Vernon on a chilly winter day. Ellis loved the cold weather.
Mount Vernon has a great playroom for kids 3-10, but Ellis found a way to enjoy the room in spite of her young age.
Also, there was a Christmas camel (who didn't grow up with a Christmas camel?), based on a tradition in the 18th century of shipping in exotic animals for the holidays. But this was the friendliest camel in the history of camels.
