Melvis Day Observed

Melvis Day is the day between Maeve and Ellis' birthdays -- January 13. This year, it was officially observed on January 10th with a pizza party at Luigi's in downtown DC. The Os headed down early but found themselves caught behind a big protest for over 40 minutes, which made them late. So we ditched the car in a lot about 5 blocks from the restaurant and walked. But once we were out on our feet (in the freezing rain) the traffice started moving again...of course. The cause behind the protest -- opposing the occupation of Gaza -- has lost support in the O household as a consequence. Anyway, here are some choice pics from the party:
