Southern Govs
The Os got together with Beth's former coworkers from the Southern Governors Association for dinner and, as always, had a great time. This is such a special group of people, who we need to make an effort to see more often. The top picture is Ellis being held by Jen, the new Deputy White House Liaison for the Department of Education. Ellis has been very shy lately, but she went straight to Jen when she had the chance.
Okay, this is a picture of one of the cutest things I (Beth) have ever witnessed. This is young Noah, who listens to a lot of Johnny Cash with his dad. He graced us with a once-in-a-lifetime performance of "Folsom Prison Blues." Let me be clear, he did not merely sing or chant the words: he channeled Cash. I wish I had caught it on video, but the light did not cooperate.
