Fathers Day at the Pool
Fathers' Day was a laid back affair. We started the day getting breakfast at Open City. Then Mike went to play soccer with his team, and scored the winning goal. After naptime, we joined Cassandra and Alastair at the Banneker kiddie pool.

Alastair went straight into the pool and wanted to be left to swim on his own, even though he does not yet walk on his own. He is an adventurous, gregarious barely-one-year old.

Ellis (on the other hand) spent most of her time splashing about in a puddle near the kiddie pool. After 45 minutes of flirting with the pool and getting in little-by-little for short periods of time, she decided she was a huge fan. And that was the exact moment that the life guards called everyone out of the pools for break. She was not happy to be taken out, so clearly we are going back.
