Ellis was drinking some milk before bed but didn't want to put down her toothbrush or the nose suction. She was walking around the house like this for several minutes. We had to catch it on film.
This provides us an excellent excuse to tell a cute story about Ellis. Every Sunday night, we Skype with Beth's parents (Mumu and Pops to Ellis) so that Ellis can get to know them even though they live far away. Last night, after we had talked for about 20 minutes, we said good-bye and hung up. Ellis furrows her brow and says "Pops?" and then says and signs "again?" (which she pronounces "awdun"). We told her that Mumu and Pops had to go. So she tries again, saying and signing "more?" We again explain that Mumu and Pops had to go. This time she says and signs "please?" How do you say no to that? So we called Mumu and Pops and informed them that their 17-month old granddaughter had asked to "please" talk some more. They, of course, complied with her request, and she was very happy when they popped back up on the screen.
