Story Time
We took Ellis to story time at the Watha T. Daniel Public Library in Shaw. She hasn't quite figured the story time thing out. Even though she loves books, she doesn't get the idea that a book is being read to her from afar; so she has a little trouble sitting still.
You probably are thinking, "That is because she is 17 months old!" But she will sit still for 6, 7, 10 books if you let her sit in your lap while you are reading.
Whether sitting or walking around, she did like the stories, laughing and participating in the story telling.
After the stories, we went outside where Ellis became obsessed with water draining from the roof after a rainstorm. Her expression in this picture is one of major excitement (though it looks like horror). BTW, yes she fell into the puddle -- and did not care a lick.
