Outing to the Playground

Ellis and Beth went to the playground in Adams Morgan today to meet Maisie and her parents. Ellis had a blast. She sat on Beth's lap on the swing and squealed with glee for a good 10 minutes. It was hilarious. But Beth started to experience motion sickness and had to put Ellis in a swing alone (video below). Ellis also enjoyed climbed up the steps to the slide and sliding down -- over and over and over (video on the left of the page).

Afterward, she was too pooped to stay awake in the carrier. Her resulting slump was so preposterous as to cause 2 people to ask if she was alive. Fearing possible arrest, Beth moved Ellis to the front carrying position and got her into bed as soon as possible.
