France/Germany -- Part I
We started and ended our trip in Frankfurt. Ellis did a great job on the flight over, sleeping more than half the way. We spent the first day just getting acclimated and walking along the Main River in Frankfurt.

The second picture is from the last day of the trip, also along the Main. Lots of parks and playgrounds along that river. Ellis also was wonderful on the flight back, though she only fell asleep 5 seconds after we landed and while we got luggage and went through customs.
Playdough, crayons, stickers, books, many walks up and down the isles and a portable DVD player are the tools we used to make sure the 8-hour flight home was a smooth one.
Now the flight from Frankfurt to Amsterdam was not so good. She fussed because we wouldn't let her walk and because we put a seatbelt on her and because she didn't have milk...At least she chose the 40 minute flight to be difficult and not the 8-hour one.
