France/Germany -- Part III

Site seeing took some planning, but we did our fair share.

The first picture is of our hike in Munster.

The second is at the Chateau du Haut-Koenigsbourg in the Vosges Mountains -- a 15th century fortress that was abandoned in the 17th century and restored by Kaiser Wilhelm II in the early 20th century. If you want to see pictures of the actual castle, go to the slideshow. Here is a picture of Ellis showing how you are never fully dressed without a smile.

The third is Ellis with the grandparents in Strasbourg, right by the cathedral.

And this is our hike in the Black Forest, a beautiful place where Hansel and Gretel found a house made of gingerbread and candy.
