Monday Night Football
The 6-0 Saints played a Monday night game in the Dome against the Falcons. So Ellis and Beth put on their "Who Dat" best. The freaking Saints, who I was relying on to put the game away early so that I could go to sleep, kept me up until 12:20am. They did everything they could to keep the Falcons in the game -- including a fumble at the end of the game when they should have been sitting on the ball and giving away an on-sides kick that didn't even go 10 yards. Ugh.
But they pulled it out and are 7-0, tied for a franchise best start. Last time they went 7-0, I was in college. The Saints played their 8th game against the Steelers (my second favorite team in the league), who torched my Saints. My team went on to have a 2nd half of the season that was as bad as the first half was good. But that won't happen this time. This year they are good. Darren Sharper and Jabari Greer are maniacs. We are thick with awesome wide receivers, not to mention a tight end who is a house. And Brees is a awesome. WHO DAT!

Less you Olanders fear, we also fitted Ellis up with some 49-ers gear. Mike just got his matching shirt in the mail. But the picture of Ellis taking a sip of water while wearing panty hose and standing in Mike's dress shoes was too cute not to share.
