Surprise: a Day Off

On Monday the 21st, the federal government closed down, giving most people in town the day off. As tradition in my circle holds, we all meet at lunch at a restaurant called "el Tamarindo." Back in the day, it was a big crowd of all singles. On this day, it was a smaller, hard core group with kids -- including Melvis.
