Trip to New Orleans
Ellis spent a week in New Orleans for Thanksgiving. She got quality time with her cousin Allee, Uncle Scott, Aunt Hollee, Tante, Uncle James, Pops and Kackie (the new name for MuMu). It was especially special because her Gram came all the way from CA to visit with her. Below are some highlights and a slideshow will be posted soon.
We went to story land in City Park. The first picture is Ellis signing "cow" and Allee sitting on the cow that jumped over the moon. The second is of the girls sitting on a park bench together. I got some good video on that, which I will post next.
We also visited with Amy, Zoe and Ethan and Ellis fell in love with Zoe (who is an amazing babysitter). The two of them ran off and let their moms get caught up. We also got some time to get to know Ethan, who is a very sweet baby boy even if he is not a very good sleeper.
Pops and Kackie took Ellis and Beth on the Algiers ferry for a holiday kick-off called "Have yourself a ferry little Christmas." We spent some quality time with Santa and Ellis learned to say "Mississippi."
Finally, our friend Balijeet was in town. He had tickets to that amazing Monday night Saints' game. Luckily, he didn't have tickets to the LSU game and spent the evening watching the game with us.
