Enough of the Snow, Already

It looks like the federal government will be closed all week. We have another foot of snow coming. So Beth took Ellis to work with her today and Ellis was amazing. She played with puzzles, read books and watched DVDs. She also sat through a meeting with Denver's Mayor John Hickenlooper, playing with puzzles and snuggling with me. Mayor (soon-to-be Governor) Hickenlooper said he was very impressed with how well Ellis put together that puzzle. She also napped on a mat in Beth's office. Ellis was cautious of men with beards but, otherwise, was very friendly with my coworkers. She particularly took a shining to Chelsea and Kelley.

Other things accomplished in the snow storm include the installation of new shades that were a Christmas present from our parents. We also got together with the Nanni and the Freedkopfs for pizza. Tomorrow, we plan to engage in a Wii tournament. Snow days are not wasted in this household.
