Superbowl -- Saints no longer 'Aints
The snowstorm ruined our Superbowl party but we trudged through the snow to watch the game with Cassandra, Andy and Alastair. Below are pictures of Ellis playing with Alastair, Ellis cuddling with a Saints Mr. Potatohead and Ellis getting to know some new friends. Ellis was up far too late but enjoyed herself and was a champ about the whole thing.
Speaking of champs, everything that could be said about the game has been said. But I just have to add what a pleasure it was to watch my team play such a solid game on both sides of the ball, by special teams and the coaching staff. Drew Brees is getting most of the credit, but it is much easier to be a great quarterback when you can throw to 8 different guys on one drive. I mean, how do you defend that? Also, it takes so much pressure off an offense when your defense puts 7 points on the board and special teams gives you a drive you didn't expect. So this Saints fan credits the whole team and the entire coaching staff. Who dat!
