First Night Seder
We decided to host a Seder this year and invited Josh, Sue, Jack and Nora to join us. While we finished preparations, Ellis and Jack watched "The Princess and the Pea."
Ellis looooved the rack of lamb we cooked, and Mike was very pleased about that.
Jack tried hard to pay attention and participate. And he did find the afikomen.
Try as they did, we realized that kids make it tough to concentrate on the Seder. Luckily, Ellis and Jack played very well together when they just couldn't stand to listen any more and allowed us to make it to the end of the siddur before their bedtime.
The whole thing was very exciting...and exhausting. Ellis couldn't event sit up to color.
