Sunday Outing
This morning, we got up late and went to The Diner for breakfast. The first shot is of me and Ellis sneaking a snuggle in before our food came. A minute later, a man walked in with a Columbia Heights t-shirt that I immediately dug. I asked him where he got it, and he said Eastern Market. So we decided (rather spontaneously) to head down there, look for the t-shirt and pick up some fresh food for grilling.
When we arrived, we ran into Jack, a little boy in Ellis' daycare. Ellis grabbed Jack's hand and the two of them started giggling and wandering around to explore. So Mike and I hung out with Jack's parents, Josh and Stephanie, who turn out to be really great people. Interestingly, Mike and Josh separately had the exact same conversation that Stephanie and I had. Funny.
We wandered over to where a jazz band was playing. Jack and Ellis danced and ran around and cheered. A great time was had by all. Video will be posted on the left side of the page.
