Vacation - Custer City
We also spent a morning in Custer City, a former mining town north of Stanley, ID that was established in the 1879 and became a ghost town by 1911 after the mine closed in 1904. But at its height, it housed 600 people, a couple bars, a general store, a hotel and a Chinatown.
