Letters and Hugs

Ellis continues to work on her letters and is doing an amazing job. She concentrates really, really hard on it, and is very proud of the result and the praise she gets from Mike and me. She has even gotten some recognition on the Metro by strangers impressed with her commitment to the project. She is embarrassed at the moment but loves every minute of it.


Ellis is an extremely cuddly child -- always has been. Sometimes she will say to me when we are sitting on the couch, "Mommy, want to cuddle?" This means we should snuggle up under a blanket. Other times, she will say, "Daddy, I want a hug." And you can see the result...
