Bunch of Random Pictures

I admit that I fell down on the postings last week. So let me catch you up. First, we have a couple pictures of Ellis and Ian. The first picture is from when we babysat Ian and were trying to calm him down. Ellis and I are both shushing, one of the 5 key techniques to calming a newborn. Ellis also sung a few songs to him -- including "ABC" (which she calls "ABCD") and "A You're Adorable. The second picture was from another visit and Ellis wanted to hold him.


I took these pictures because 1) Ellis has a new jacket and hat, and she looked so cute in them; and 2) she was insistent that she should help her dad make coffee. She knows which buttons to push on the espresso machine.


This little dress that is making Ellis so happy was a gift from a colleague of mine who went to Harry Potter world in Orlando. Putting aside my sickening jealousy, this little Hogwarts uniform is adorable and Ellis loves it. She slept in it that night, in fact.
