The Belly
I am constantly told how huge I am, which is not what a pregnant woman wants to hear. Someones, a person will say I look "so cute" (usually women who have had kids within the last 5-10 years). But most of the time, people ask when my due date is and then express shock that it isn't sooner (usually men, but not always). I have a few choice words and a favorite finger in mind for them.
Actually, I measure exactly where I am supposed to be -- 27 cm of belly in the 27th week. Frighteningly, it means I have another 11-15 cm inches to go! I admit that I feel huge, but how is it that a few weeks ago people were afraid to ask if I was pregnant for fear, if they were wrong, they would be calling me fat. And now they are happy to state outright that I look bigger than I should at this stage?
