Bye, Kackie and Pops!
Before Kackie and Pops had to head home, we got a picture of them with Ellis. It was such a nice shot, it had to be shared. We love you and miss you already, Kackie and Pops!
But while I am posting, there is also a bedtime story that must be told. After everyone had left and Ellis was completely pooped and ready for bed, we climbed into her bed to read some books. Once the lights were off and I was rubbing her back (as we always do for 5 minutes, with a 2-minute warning), the following exchange occurred...
Ellis: "Mommy, can I ask you something?"
Beth: "Of course you can."
Ellis: "With everything, do you love me?"
Beth: "Absolutely, with everything I love you. I love you with all my heart and all my soul and all my might."
Ellis: [Sigh] "Okay, then I go to sleep now."
