Sleep-Over, Part I
Last Saturday night, Melvis had a sleep-over. Maeve spent the night at our place, with a follow-up plan that Ellis will spend the night at Maeve's next weekend. We thought it was important to get Ellis some practice sleeping at other people's house before I have to go to the birth center. As you can see, they played beautifully together.

Teeth were brushed and into bed they went. Maeve really, really wanted to get into Ellis' bed but is not used to beds yet (she sleeps in a crib at home). So after a valiant attempt to fall asleep, she moved into our crib and the two girls slept solidly through the night.

In the morning, there were pancakes that met both of the girls' approval.

Then we went to the Natural History Museum with Pops. A successful sleep-over!
