Anders Update

Anders is a very cuddly baby. He still sleeps most of the time but has some more alert times lately, usually in the evenings. This morning, he woke up at 7:30 and was actually awake for a couple hours. Unprecedented.

More updates:

• He eats every 2 hours at least, often more. He cluster feeds at night around 7-9 and in the early morning 5-7.
  
• Anders randomly dive bombs off of our shoulders. Ellis used to do this, but nowhere near as often as Anders.
• This morning, Anders picked his head up during tummy time into a serious cobra position. It was quite impressive. He is super strong. You have to wrestle him to get shirts on, get him into car seat, etc.
  
• He will not be pushed, or even encouraged into a feeding. If you push his head towards breast, he'll gag, push, turn his head or otherwise fight. You just have to wait for him to come to you. And he takes his time. Ellis would eat like she was doing shots, like the food was going to be taken away any moment. Anders is in no rush. He might even have a little, take a 2 minute nap and then expect to continue.
