Eats, Poops and Sleeps
That is what they say newborns do. And Anders is no exception, though he does each with particular gusto. Here is a picture of Anders sleeping on Mike while we eat brunch at Open City. It is Anders' first brunch out with his parents.
The doctor said he is supposed to eat every 2 hours. He eats every 90 minutes from about 4am to 4pm -- and a lot. At that point, he slows down to a feeding once every 2.5-3 hours. He is supposed to have one wet and one poopy diaper a day. Ha! One? That is for girlie babies. This young man produces numerous versions of each (and wets through at least 2 outfits a day).
And as I have said before,this kid can sleep. Here are a few particularly cute pics of Anders catching a snooze.
That belly on me is still quite big. Thankfully it shrinks a little every day. But I think it is a bit of a kick in the gut that you have a baby and are left looking 6 months pregnant. A week in and I am down to looking about 5 months pregnant. So that is something. Plus, people pay more attention to the cute newborn than how I look.
