School Photos
Again, Ellis' daycare photo is in and it is fantastic. I know it is inappropriate to talk about how beautiful your own child is -- and physical beauty is not important -- but seriously, this kid is gorgeous! I especially like her expression in the class photo. Check it out...
Here is her class. Standing are her wonderful teachers: Ms. T, Ms. Shirley, Ms. Ingrid and Ms. Stacy. Ms. Shirley refers to Anders as her grandson. Ms. Stacy tells me that Ellis is too smart to stay in daycare, that she needs to go to school and be challenged. Ms. Ingrid is constantly reading about age appropriate lessons -- this is a class for her, not just a babysitting service. I love these ladies. They are exactly the right combination of strict and loving. Whether Ellis stays next year or not, she will graduate from this classroom in the summer. And I can't tell you how sad it makes me to think about not seeing these ladies every day.
The kids are pretty amazing too. In the back row: Emmi, Oren, Lucas and Ellis. In the middle row: Casey, Claire, Caroline, Sophia and Daphne. On the floor: Ronan and Jack. Niko must have missed this day. These kids are so precious. They will mob you with hugs. They will also offer their toys to a fellow classmate who looks sad. Claire wants to give Ellis a hug when she gets to JUK every morning. Jack asked if Ellis could come home with him yesterday. That is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of these kids' sweetness.
