70% of Her Time in Water
While Pops was in town, he quite astutely said, "If she could, I think Ellis would spend 70% of her time in water." I think he is right. Here are 2 of the ways she has done so recently. First, she is getting much more aggressive about playing in the fountain, both in terms of dealing with the other kids and in terms of getting water in her face. The water was FREEZING this day, and we finally had to pull her out because she was shaking and her lips were turning blue. Thankfully, we had a great swim suit cover that Kackie and Pops gave her to wrap her up in.

She looked so cute in the swim suit cover, but she announced she didn't want pictures as I was snapping this one. It was the best shot I could get.

Ellis asked to put water in pots. My mom used to do this for me, and I'd pour water from one into the other. So I set Ellis up and went to feed Anders. When I came back, Ellis was cleaning the floor and singing "Oh, Sing Sweet Nightingale" -- this is what Cinderella sang while scrubbing the floor in the movie.
