Anders' Looks

Anders has started to spend more and more of the day alert. And we have discovered that he gives some very funny looks. He usually gives people a suspicious look as if he is just not sure he can trust you. Sometimes, it turns into the look of someone who just doesn't understand why you are doing this to him: though the "this" is not quite clear.

Here is something he does with some regularity: he starts falling asleep but keeps an eye on us...

How is it that babies -- with no neck strength, back strength or ability to hold on -- have such an ability to insinuate themselves into your chest and shoulder that you can hold on to them with one arm? It one of life's great mysteries. Anders is also starting to make very interesting and cute noises. They bridge between chirps and baby sounds. I'll try to catch it on tape.
