Pensacola -- Last Day

Ellis and Allee enjoyed hanging out on the top bunk in Ellis' room.

But they were not prepared for the vacation to end, especially Ellis. She cried on our last night, particularly about having to leave Allee and Uncle Pat. And on the last day, she asked for 5 more minutes in the house. This is how she spent those 5 minutes...

BTW, the house we stayed in was owned by Chuck Wagner, who had quite a career on Broadway and now teaches master classes around the country. He played Javert in "Les Mis," the Beast in "Beauty and the Beast," and originated the Big Bad Wolf and Rapunzel's Prince in "Into the Woods." I actually saw him in "Into the Woods" when I went on the Harvard Model UN trip to Boston and NYC in 1988. How crazy is that? Very nice guy.
