Ellis' Ballet Class

Before we get to the ballet class, I have to share this excellent picture of Ellis with her face painted by neighbor Isabel.  I think it is a really fantastic job, and Ellis was over the moon about it.

So this week's ballet class was the one open to parents to observe.  And I have 2 observations: 1) It is clear why parents do not get to watch normally, as we are a HUGE distraction to the kids and 2) I never thought a descendent of Mike Olander, even one who is 4 (and a half!), would be this flexible...

Ellis was wonderful.  Ms. Monica said Ellis is a natural, picks up everything immediately, and helps the other kids out.  We also saw her volunteer to demonstrate and go first every chance she was given.  Videos will be posted on the right side of the page.  I warn you: they are ridiculously cute.
