Lovely Sunday
It was a beautiful Sunday, so the kids and I got out. Mike had to work and missed all the fun, sadly. But we didn't waste time. We went to the trolley park with Ellis' new friend Rexi (below).
We went to Z-Burger for lunch.
Then we hit the grocery store to buy ingredients for sausage and chicken étouffée. I made some for my friend Tom, who is still recovery from a pretty devastating illness and surgery. And we used it as an excuse to make some for us too. Ellis was my excellent sous chef when she wasn't painting the pumpkin we picked up on the hayride the day before.
After Anders' nap, we hit another park and Anders went down his first slide alone. Video to post soon.
