Trip to New Orleans

I had to go to New Orleans for work and decided to bring the kids with me for some Kackie and Pops time. It was quite the adventure.  For one thing, Ellis kept popping high temperatures because she had contracted impetigo.  No fun.  Here she is getting TLC from Kackie and Pops.
We finally had to go to urgent care.  Here she is with her lollipop for being brave.  And you can see the scab on her chin.  It got worse before getting better.

We did get to visit the Marquises.  Here is Anders playing in Ethan's toy car.  He spent most of his time in there.
Ellis and Zoe are making a ferry house...and Ethan is helping?
Now Ethan is definitely helping.  He helped make banana pancakes for dinner.  It was a hit.
Zoe was a wonderful babysitter for the little kids while I socialized with Amy and Colin.
Back with Kackie and Pops, there were many games.
Aunt Hollee brought Allee and Baylee in to play with their cousins and they were all outstanding together.  When Anders is another year, they are going to be able to run off and play without us.  I can't wait.
And here is the trip back home.  Ellis was a trouper and super helpful.  Anders was mostly good, but he threw a few fits when he didn't get what he wanted.  I suppose he is only 18 months old, and that should be expected.  But for the most part, they made traveling with two kids look easy.
