Christmas Day

Next year, I will need to control the gifts more because there were way to many of them.  Anders was taken with what has come to be known as the taunting broom because it says in a particularly nanny-nanny-boo-boo voice, "You misses a spot!"
Ellis got a carousel from her Bubba and adored it.  But we had to hide it from Anders who wanted to throw it around.
There was present chaos with gift opening and gift enjoying and gift cleaning all at once.  Some kids were particularly interested in other people's gifts (Anders).

The dinner feast!  it was sinfully good.  Especially because Uncle Steve brought over stuffed mirliton and baked oysters.
Later at Uncle Jerry's for dessert, we gorged ourselves on 20 different dessert options and everyone played with cousin Pierce's spread.  Alex was an excellent playmate for the kids.  He was amazingly patient with them.
Ian loved Christmas trees and would analyze each one.
 Pierce had a rockin' hat.
 And fun toys.
Anders having a stuffed animal attack Ian.  Roar!
Another delicate carousel.  I found myself holding my breath as he stood next to it.
 Hugs and goodbyes...
