Inauguration

Four years ago, Mike, Ellis and I got up early, scurried across town, trudged through the freezing cold and the humongous crowds, and stood in lines for hours to see President Obama take the oath of office.  I'm glad we were there but it wasn't fun.  This year, we slept a little more, took our time getting out of the house, wandered over to trolley park and then decided to get a bite at The Coupe, where the service and food have improved a good deal (thank heavens).  They know their neighborhood.  Look who greeted us at the door...

We ate and watched the inauguration from a warm place that refilled our coffee mugs.  We were much happier with this arrangement.

 There was also some face painting to be done.  Happy inauguration everyone!
