Anders
Anders is a curious little guy. He like to be with his parents and wants to be involved with whatever we are doing. While he can walk and run very well, he loves to be carried and seeks to be on our laps at every opportunity.
Anders is a character and getting more fun every day. He chatters and sings a lot, until you ask him to. But lately, he will try to say words that I feed him. Here he is trying to draw like Ellis at Meridian Pint, one of our local eateries.
He really wanted to try to drive. In fact, "try" is one of his favorite words. He wants to try everything, including every kind of food. This doesn't mean he likes everything he tries, but he always wants to.
Anders has a true sense of humor. He knows that when he is silly it gets him attention and he uses that. It is clearly intentional. So he put on Ellis' headband and then gave me a sly look. I had no choice but to take a picture.
Another silly moment at bathtime. He was very proud of himself for this one.
This is the great Anders photo shoot. He knew I thought he looked cute in the new outfit that Gram sent, so he hammed it up. He struck every pose he could think of to get me to snap another picture.
As you can see, Anders is carrying a bag of food. It is actually cereal. But Anders wants to do things for himself, so don't even think about carrying that bag for him. Later he was carrying a box of raisins and struggled to get the ones from the bottom. He had no choice but to accept my help, but the way he accepted it was to give me the box, let me grab a few, put them in his hand and take the box back for a while. Then we did it all again.
Anders is quite adventurous. Watching him try this terrified me, but he did it.
