Vacation by the Bay, Part 2

Calvert County, Maryland, has a surprising number of really fun destinations for kids.  I didn't get pictures of the awesome public pool that included water slides; but $6 got us in and entertained for hours.  I do have some pictures of Annmarie Garden, which is this beautiful forest area that looks like it should have fairies.  So what do they do?  Invite people to build fairy houses and place them all over the property.  They were fantastic.  They haven had a couple life sized houses and castles for the kids to play in.  Here is Anders enjoying a drink...
Anders, Jack, Nora and Ellis by a fairy house.
The kids also got to dress up for the tour.  Anders insisted on the red fairy wings, which I think looked quite fetching.

Back at the arts center, Ellis got to try her hand at painting and Mike and Anders took a break.

On another day, we hit a put-put coarse that also included bumper boats.  The kids loved the bumper boats.  We were soaked by the end and stomachs aching from laughing so hard.
