All in a Day's Work

A demonstration of Anders' progress at school is this artistry.  This is the first time he has ever drawn anything like a person with a head and eyes.  This is after 3 weeks of class.  Color me impressed.
After Yom Kippur services, Anders was playing at our friend's house, jumping into a beanbag chair and missed. He cushioned the fall with his nose.  All of the sudden we hear Ellis screaming for me and then Anders crying.  When we saw Anders blood was streaming from his nose.  But he bounced back after the bleeding stopped.  No permanent damage.
Ellis in her high holy days dress.
Anders with new dragons hanging above his bed.  Mike had bought this beautiful mobile that we hung before Ellis was born.  But Anders always found it scary, in spite of the fact it was just red shapes.  Dragons, apparently, are much more comforting.
And some father-son contemplation over an iPhone video...
