Halloween

Halloween fell on a Friday and all the kids got to wear their costumes to school.  Ellis dressed up as the young fairy Maleficent who grew up to curse Sleeping Beauty to prick her finger on her 16th birthday and fall into an unending slumber.  Good movie for those who haven't seen it.  Anders was a dragon.

We started our trick-or-treating off at the trolley park for a costume contest (both kids got an honorable mention) and then set off to find candy along 11th Street, where all of the businesses open up to trick-or-treaters.

I dressed up as Maleficent once she had gone bad.
