Nora's Birthday Party at the Building Museum

The coolest birthday party ever at The Building Museum.  We took a tour of the 4th floor to get ideas for architectural details that we would use when we built our own castles.

Here are the kids' castles.  Anders got some help on his.

The party was for a young girl turning 5, so of course there was a Frozen cake...

...that turned Anders' tongue and lips blue.

So here is a cool little story that Sue told me (Nora's mom, below).  First, look at the track that runs along the ceiling on the left.  This was how the people who worked in the Pensions Building, which is what The Building Museum used to be, sent messages to coworkers in other offices.  They would put a message in a basket that was then run around this track to the office of the addressee. Old fashioned email. Also the architectural detail is amazing from up there.
