Columbia Heights Day

Each year, there is a big festival in the neighborhood.  There are moon bounces and many activities for kids.

There is also a dunk tank, which is used to raise funds for Tubman Elementary.  We had a our city councilwoman, the school board representative, a couple teachers, me and the principal.

 Anders, Ellis and our friend Alistair were the ones that most enjoyed dunking me. One time, Anders hit the target twice but not hard enough to dunk me, so Principal Delabar smacked the lever to do it for him. She said it was only fair.
