Our neighborhood has a big festival once a year. Anders and Ellis enjoyed it but missed the face painting, so we had to trek to the zoo to fit that in too, as face painting had been promised for some time.
We discovered a series of animal statues constructed entirely out of trash and lessons about how to reduce/recycle/reuse. They were amazing.
