Seljalandsfoss & Gljúfrabúi
On our last day in Iceland, we visited 3 waterfalls. Seljalandsfoss was up first which is part of the Seljalands River which starts in the Eyjafjallajökull volcano (the one that blew a few years ago). We hiked behind the Seljalandsfoss but there were waterfalls everywhere.
This is the behind the waterfall. It was freezing cold and quite slippery. But what a sight.
And threw rocks in the creek...for a very long time. Even when there are breathtaking waterfalls around, why not just throw rocks into a creek?
And on our walk, we found Gljúfrabúi, which means dweller of the gorge and I believe was where (legend has it) a troll lived. You could totally believe that there are trolls in Iceland. The waterfall is hidden in a cave. Pops still needs to share the picture of the whole family inside the cave by the waterfall, but I got a great picture of Ellis, imitating a pose we saw the hiker before us take.

We were all pretty pumped up after that.
