Books and the Museum of African Art

The Museum of African Art profiled several new children's books by African-American authors, which included stories and art. Anders made a plane.
 Ellis got a henna tattoo.
And both kids got the most amazing face paint.

Anders also made his own chicken in honor of one of the books that was profiled.
Ellis learned how to make a bracelet out of plastic bags.
Here is Ellis with some flowers she made and Anders with a dagger that Mom made from paper.
