NYC, Part I

We spent several days in NYC between Christmas and the New Year, starting with the lighting of the country's largest menorah in Brooklyn.

Each morning, we started out with breakfast at the Chelsea Market.

We did all the touristy things that a person should do. We spent a day at the Met.

The kids' hanukkah present was $25 to spend as they would like in NY. So Ellis bought a fashion design book and got straight to work.

Here she is with my friend from high school's daughter working on a design.

Anders and I took a break from the museum in the afternoon and explored the area. He liked this dragon door...
 ...and the park.

We also hit the high line.

And the sea glass carousel.

And we went to Trinity Church to see Alexander Hamilton's grave.  But we also found Hercules Mulligan (he needs no introduction), pictured here.
