Thanksgiving and the surrounding weeks

I don't have a lot of pictures of any one event, but there was a lot that happened around Thanksgiving.   So let's get into it.  First, the kids and I (and Bubba, though he chose not to be pictured here) went to the Shakespeare picture to see "The Secret Garden." We sat in the front row and we all loved it.

The next day, both kids were big helps to prepare thanksgiving dinner.  Anders thought it was important to wear the right headgear for the occassion.

Then RIGHT before everyone arrived for dinner, Anders threw up.  He spent the rest of the night on my bed miserable.  At one point, he said with the saddest voice, "This is not what how expected today to go." Poor sweet boy.  After dinner, Ellis did her best to make him feel better and he bounced back quickly.

Proof that my kids love arugula. In the interest of full disclosure, Ellis likes it way more than Anders.  Anders ate about 5 bites and then Ellis finished everything.

Olanders!

Olanders stacked!

Ellis participates in Girls on the Run and they had a 5K after Thanksgiving.  Here is Ellis after the race with her friend Jacqueline.

The whole crowd from Tubman.

Mike and Anders also ran the race.  Anders would run and then hope into a stroller that Mike was pushing.  Ellis, apparently, ran with them then to where her friends were and then back.  Mike says she ran about 10K when all the back and forth is considered and had energy to spare when the race was over.

I was in Hawaii for work.  This was my 5 minutes at the beach after dinner one night.
